First Lieutenant Süleyman Aslan, who was performing his duty in Northern Iraq, was one of the soldiers who experienced the Sack incident. Unable to find what happened befitting the honor of military service, the first lieutenant committed suicide, leaving behind a letter written to Polat Alemdar. Polat, who was also an intelligence officer working for the state, could not remain indifferent to the last wish of this soldier who committed suicide for the sake of his honor, and set off for Northern Iraq with his men. Serdar Akar, who was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, is making the highest budget film in Turkish cinema with Valley of the Wolves: Iraq. Shot in four different languages, the film features 3000 extras, while the Turkish actors are accompanied by well-known names from Hollywood such as Billy Zane and Gary Busey.
