Murad Khan, shocked by the sudden death of Prince Alaaddin, retreats to Bursa. He is succeeded by his son, Prince Mehmed. Although Mehmed was seen as immature by the European states, the situation was different in reality. Sultan Mehmed, who ascended the throne, will wage his first major war against Orhan, who took refuge in Byzantium and received support. While Orhan wants to defeat Mehmed, thinking that he is young and immature, Mehmed fights him to prove that he owns the throne.

Sultan Mehmed has a dream in his mind: to conquer Constantinople. He gathers the queens to achieve this goal. However, those around him do not understand Mehmed’s intention. A group led by Çandarlı tries to convince Mehmed, thinking that it is difficult to take Constantinople. However, Mehmed is different from the others and determined. He orders them to begin preparations.

Çandarlı encourages the Janissaries to rebel, and chaos erupts in the capital. Mehmed is forced to gather his army and fight the rebels. Mehmed’s army and the rebel Janissaries come face to face. Mehmed is determined to kill the rebels, but Çandarlı’s final move stops him. Mehmed bows to his father. While Çandarlı wins this war, Mehmed is defeated and exiled.
However, all is not over for Mehmed. He will return as sultan one day.
